At our unit, we understand that real life always comes first. Whether you're dealing with personal issues, work commitments, or just need a break, we've got your back. We’ll never pressure you to join operations your well-being is our priority. If you need to step away for a while, we offer a "Reserves" or "Friend of the Unit" role, exempting you from attendance reporting. You can rejoin the action whenever you’re ready, no questions asked.

Open to Everyone

The JOU is one of the most open, comfortable units around. We don't have king on the throne nor a rank structure, preventing the kind of power-dynamics or ego growth commonly seen in other units.

Additionally we bar transphobes and other bigots at the door, which has cultivated a culture of acceptance and openness for almost six years. Our unit culture is one of friendliness and mutual respect, which translates to people feeling comfortable and accepted no matter their background.
